Dr. Chelece-Atavia Brown is a first-generation Afro-Jamerican and Doctor of Social Work dedicated to reshaping how Caribbean communities engage with mental health. She earned her BSW and MSW from Ramapo College of New Jersey and her DSW from the University of Kentucky.

With a trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and faith-integrated approach, Dr. Brown creates safe spaces for healing where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered. Through clinical care, advocacy, and outreach, she continues to break stigma and champion mental wellness across communities.
